Hello! I would first like to start by thanking you for considering RO CONSULTING for your needs of mitigation investigation and sentencing advocacy for your client. My name is Ashley. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Maryland. My social work journey began in 2012 when I enrolled into the Master of Social Work (MSW) program at Morgan State University. In 2015, I successfully completed the Master of Social Work program and went on to begin a social work career in primary care settings serving the most vulnerable populations in Baltimore City and surrounding counties.

As an advocate for change, I worked tirelessly to advance health equity through the implementation of comprehensive assessments as well as utilized critical thinking skills to determine best practices that reduced barriers to care and improved quality of life. In 2020, I embarked on a new social work opportunity as a Panel Social Worker with the Maryland Office of The Public Defender. I was assigned the most serious violent cases in Baltimore City’s Adult Felony Division. While assigned to this district, I worked alongside criminal defense attorneys where I advocated for the lives of indigent client populations. I conducted mitigation investigations and advocated for the dignity and humanity of criminal defendants who had committed heinous violent crimes. It was this incredible experience that inspired RO Consulting LLC’s inception.
Today, RO Consulting continues its business partnership with The Maryland Office of the Public Defender and has expanded its services to private criminal defense attorneys in the state of Maryland.
